Tim, I will be talking about my prediction on my own blog very shortly. Just as soon as I recover. I knew the Americans were in serious trouble at 2 points on Friday afternoon when Luke Donald's ball did a "Freddy Couples" & stopped inches from rolling in the water on the fringe of the 18th green and when that rainbow appeared over the 18th green during the 27th shower of the day. Kept hearing in my head "When Irish Eye Are Smiling".

Thanks Andy. You're right, just over 70 guys are on more than $1m at the moment on the US money list and that's sure to rise by year's end. But don't forget that there's a few Europeans on that list (Luke Donald on nearly $3m and your own Pod Harrington on $1.2m) so it isn't just America that has 'pampered millionaires'. So how come Europe's cosseted cash-machines could cut it?

Don't be too disheartened American Golf fans. You still have some great golfers and fantas and fantastic support. Your Captain was a gentleman and your players professional
. I think a problem with your tour is the fact that (I could be out here) the top 100 or so golfers in the USPGA tour win A million dollars a year. This means that without really having to try they can make a living comfortably. I hope something changes so that more empahsis is put on the Ryder Cup for your countrymen.

Start watching future stars in the Junior Ryder and Canon Cups to figure out who will play well at match play in the 2010s.
