Golf resorts may be new but when I was living in Guatemala City in the early 1930s our house was on a 9-hole golf course with a great view of four volcnoes: Agua, Fuego, Acatenango and Pacaya. Some time later the Mayan Golf course and Club was established in Guatemala City.
