Thinking of Scotland or Ireland? Tune into the Golf Channel's Morning Drive
If you’re considering a golf trip to Scotland or Ireland next year, this would be the time to start planning. And if you’d like a sneak peak on what to expect, tune into Golf Channel’s Morning Drive this Saturday at 8 a.m. ET.
That’s when travel expert Matt Ginella will be hosting Marty Carr, CEO of Dublin, Ireland-based Carr Golf Travel to talk about golf packages to Ireland and Scotland. Not only will they discuss what’s hot – the new Trump International Course, for example, and the fact that the 2014 Ryder Cup will be played on the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles – but they will also discuss the tournaments that Carr Golf Travel conducts.
Among them are the World Invitational Father& Daughter (July 20-23) and Celtic Couples Challenge (dates TBA), to be played at Old Head Golf Links in Ireland. Carr’s World Invitational Father & Son Tournament is conducted at Waterville in August.
