By yourself? Booking golf as a single easy on GolfNow.com
I don’t really like to play golf alone, but I know plenty of people who do. If you often travel alone, finding a tee time by yourself or with a group can sometimes be a challenge.
The good news is that, as part of GolfNow.com’s “Go. Play.” program, you can book rounds as a single and get paired up with other players, or, if you prefer, you can play by yourself, usually early or late in the day.
Most of the time in my travels, I play golf with other people, most of whom were strangers before the day began. And most of the time, I make new friends – at least for that day. I’ve played with doctors, couples, former professional athletes and all levels of players.
But there have also been times I’ve played by myself late in the day. Sometimes, that works out well, too, because even though I prefer the company of others, it’s a great way to find your game. You can hit a few extra shots along the way if you like, and if there aren’t many in front of you, you can play in a lot less time.
The best part, perhaps, is that as a single, you can often get the cheapest tee times. Sometimes on GolfNow.com, you’ll see just one tee time offered at a ridiculously low price. That’s because they’ve already got three in the group and the course is looking to fill out the foursome.
To find a time as single, just click here, and follow the instructions. It’s pretty simple.
