Old American Golf Club near Dallas offers new stay-and-play packages
One of the most unique golf courses and clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is Old American Golf Club, a collaboration between architect Tripp Davis and PGA Tour player Justin Leonard. Located in The Colony north of Dallas on Lake Lewisville, the course is a challenging throwback to the classic American architects that came over from across the pond.
It’s also located next to The Old Course at The Tribute, another Tripp Davis design, a cool Scottish-like setup that pays tribute to the great links courses of the British Open.
Now Old American, which opened in 2010 (you can read my review here), is offering stay-and-play packages with NYLO Hotels, starting at $213 a player.
“Dallas is a first-class business destination, but is truly underrated as a golf destination,"said Mike McCabe, general manager at Old American. “Partnering with an iconic brand like NYLO gives us a platform to attract small golf groups and business travelers who collect unparalleled golf experiences.”
NYLO Hotels are equal parts passion, service, design, and fun. Guests can choose from the Las Colinas, Plano or new South Side (downtown) locations. NYLO South Side graces a restored, 102-year-old building, showcasing walls with works from local artists and guest rooms with original concrete floors and exposed ceilings. Its rooftop “Soda Bar,” infinity pool and casual grill and have become one of the city’s most popular hangouts.
To book a package online go to www.nylohotels.com or can call Old American Golf Club at 972-370-4653 and mention the “NYLO Stay and Play” when booking.
