An Omni Orlando ChampionsGate holiday golf gift for ladies and gentlemen

In the interest of equal opportunity for lavish golf vacations, the Omni Orlando (Fla.) Resort & Villas at ChampionsGate is offering something for both the gents and ladies that doesn’t involve the women shopping while the men play golf. In fact, for couples out there looking for a last-minute surprise for the significant other, the following packages might make for a nice surprise under the tree – or a nice way to ring in the new year.

Anyway, the first package is called Sticks & Stones. The idea is for women to spend a morning on the golf course and an afternoon in the spa and evening of sushi and sake at the resort’s Zen Restaurant.

The other is called Links & Drinks, for the guys who prefer a club in one hand and a Scotch in the other.

Both packages include golf at the Greg Norman-designed National and International golf courses, personalized instruction at the David Leadbetter Academy, unlimited play of the Champions Nine (hole) Course and deluxe accommodations. The Sticks & Stones package, however, also has a 50-minute hot stone massage at the award-winning Mokara Spa, which opened earlier this year, and Sticks & Stones martinis.

The men’s package also comes with an in-room steak and potatoes dinner, a cooler of local brews, and cigars and Scotch at Piper’s grill. The last one has become a sunset tradition after the sounds of bagpipes.
