Spread the news: Las Vegas offers New York-New York golf package

With all the new casino resorts in Las Vegas, one that remains one of my favorites is New York-New York. Even in Vegas, New York-New York is unique. After all, it’s a hotel casino shaped like the New York City skyline.

But unlike NYC this time of year, you can take a golf trip to the one in Vegas. And right now, NY-NY is teaming up for a pretty good golf vacation package with a couple of pretty unique courses – Royal Links Golf Club and Desert Pines Golf Club.

For $199, you get two nights you can two nights accommodations at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino and two rounds of golf at Desert Pines and Royal Links. This package also includes half off Callaway Razr X rental clubs.

Like New York-New York, the two golf courses take you to another place as well. Royal Links is a collection of holes inspired by all the British Open venues like St. Andrews Old Course and Royal Troon. Desert Pines has thousands of imported Carolina Pines with perfect bentgrass greens, plenty of water hazards and white sand bunkers.

Besides the fact that New York-New York emulates the Empire City’s old buildings and landmarks, it has a number of other features that remind you of the city. For example, parts of the hotel are named after New York City neighborhoods or landmarks, such as the main casino area, (Central Park) and the shops are modeled after Greenwich Village.

There’s even a Coney Island area for the kids. And the resort even has its own roller coaster (I still like to ride it to this day), which travels through the property’s interior and exterior.

New York-New York is also home to Zumanity, the third show from Cirque du Soleil as well as a sports bar (former ESPN Zone) and nearly a dozen bars and nightclubs.
