Black Mesa Golf Club in northern New Mexico is simply stunning this time of year
TAOS, N.M. – Black Mesa Golf Club isn’t exactly easy to get to, but it’s well worth the trip. Fly into Albuquerque, N.M., and you’ve got a little driving to do, but it’s an unforgettable drive.
The golf course really is reason enough, but the other things to do around here are simply stunning, especially this time of year.
Fall is incredible in northern New Mexico. From Albuquerque to Santa Fe to Taos, there are so many natural wonders, great restaurants, incredible views and one of the best arts communities in the world. It’s no wonder Georgia O’Keefe (I highly recommend the O’Keefe Museum in Santa Fe) made her permanent home here.
And the weather doesn’t get any better than this. Highs in the 70s, lows in the 40s, with just a few white puffy clouds in the background make for perfect photos. My only regret is that I’m not here long enough to enjoy Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, which starts tomorrow.
Nevertheless, here are a few more pictures from this week’s trip to northern New Mexico.
