Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale is doing its part to grow the game
Of all the initiatives to grow the game of golf, nothing is more effective than getting juniors involved. That’s how you ensure the future.
One way to get more juniors playing is to offer them free green fees, which is exactly what’s going on in the Troon Family Golf program, which includes more than 90 facilities around the world. It also doesn’t hurt to create family friendly tees to make it easier for younger or less skilled players.
One of those participating facilities is Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., which offers two great courses – the Pinnacle and the Monument as well as a terrific new short course. This splendid daily fee/resort facility provides free play for juniors after 3 p.m. with each paying adult. It also includes a set of Callaway rental clubs for the junior (if he or she needs them), and the offer is good every day of the year.
Guests can book their next round as a family at Troon North Golf Club by calling 480-585-5300 and mentioning the Troon Family Golf program. The offer is based on availability and juniors are defined as golfers 15 years of age and under.
