Las Vegas Golf Winter ParAm golf tournament sure to warm your spirits
Here’s something that will chase the winter blues away: the 2012 Las Vegas Golf Winter ParAm golf tournament. Not familiar with it? Let’s just say it involves golf on a really fun golf course, plenty to eat and drink, beautiful women and a great party atmosphere.
The Winter ParAm, which will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 21 at Royal Links Golf Club, is actually the second such tournament. The first one, conducted this past summer at Bali Hai Golf Club, was a rousing success. And like this event, there was plenty of other fun stuff to do besides play golf.
You can just play in the scramble tournament if you like for $175, but to enjoy the whole experience you might want to spend a couple of nights at the host hotel, the MGM Grand Resort & Casino, and take part in the extra events and parties. Competitors will enjoy limo transportation to and from Royal Links as well as VIP access to nightclubs Studio 54 and Tabu. There’s a post-tournament awards ceremony and reception, barbecue lunch prior to the tournament and 40 percent off practice rounds for players. But the best part is that each foursome will have a ParMate to help them navigate the course.
What’s a ParMate, you ask? Simply put, she is one of Walters Golf’s specially trained caddies who not only keeps her group hydrated and on track but in good spirits as well. In other words, these ladies not only help you with your game, but they’re awfully easy on the eyes. And Royal Links, a collection of holes inspired by the great courses in the British Open rotation, is unlike anything else in Vegas.
The event is open to all amateurs and you can register as a single, twosome or team. For more details, call 888-427-6678.
