Las Vegas, Walters Golf's Parmates getting national exposure
Apparently the secret of Walters Golf’s Parmate caddie program is out. This isn’t one of those “What Goes on Vegas stays in Vegas” deals as evidenced by the December issue of Golf Digest, which features an article on the sexy helpers.
What’s a Parmate?, you might ask. I’ve written about this several times over the past couple of years, but here’s the gist: It’s one of the most unique caddie programs in the world, offered at Walters Golf’s golf courses – Royal Links, Bali Hai and Desert Pines.
This is golf, Las Vegas-style. Big rollers or golf vacationers who simply have the means and the gumption to hire these gals, experience golf on a different level than most folks. These beautiful ladies take care of their players from start to finish (within reason, of course) and even guarantee a better score, if you listen to them, according to the article.
They’re nice company, they’ll keep score for you, get you drinks, maybe even get yardages and certainly clean your clubs, but don’t ask for anything inappropriate, according to 32-year-old Monica Echazabal, who has been a Parmate since 2009.
“Some guys ask me how much it would cost to see my chest,” she said in the Golf Digest story. “I tell them this is the town to see bare chests, but right now we’re here to play golf. It’s a golf course, and there’s etiquette.
“One guy asked if he could climb down into the bunker with me. I said, ‘Dude, I will beat you with this rake.’”

By the way, each month LasVegasGolf.com features a Parmate of the month.
