Traveling to Las Vegas for PGA Tour's Justin Timberlake tourney? Be sure to play golf while you're there
If you’re thinking of traveling to Las Vegas Oct. 21-24 for the PGA Tour’s Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, you might want to schedule a little golf for yourself while you’re there.
After all, late October is the perfect time to see and play golf in Southern Nevada. Plus, you can get some pretty good rates on green fees. In fact, Walters Golf is offering reduced rates up to 67 percent on its three courses ? Bali Hai Golf Club, Royal Links Golf Club and Desert Pines Golf Club.
I don’t know about you, but watching professional golf always gives me the itch to play golf, especially when I go to the range and see how easy the pros make it look. That’s typically when I rediscover the secret to the golf swing.
Anyway, the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is part of the PGA Tour’s Fall Series. Martin Laird won last year’s tournament at the TPC Summerlin, one of two TPC Network members in Nevada (the other being TPC Las Vegas).
Bali Hai is a premium South Pacific-style golf course located right on the Las Vegas Strip next to the Mandalay Bay resort. Royal Links is a tribute to the great British Open venues. And Desert Pines has hundreds of imported Carolina Pines and bentgrass greens.
