Nothing Mickey Mouse about staying and playing golf at the Omni Orlando ChampionsGate
Sometimes taken for granted, Orlando, Fla., still ranks as one of the country’s top golf destinations with several top-notch resorts. One of those is Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, which not only has two excellent Greg Norman-designed golf courses, but a beautifully luxurious hotel and spa as well.
One of the cool things about the resort is that there’s also a lighted nine-hole course behind the extensive water park area at the resort, and you can play it as often as you like, perfect for a warm-up or after-dinner romp with a cigar and a drink.
Currently, the Omni Orlando Resort is offering its ChampionsGate Unlimited Golf package for as little as $139 per person based on double occupancy. It includes unlimited golf on the National and International courses, breakfast and club storage.
It doesn’t include golf instruction at the headquarters of the David Leadbetter Academy of Golf next door, but for anyone looking to improve, it might be worth scheduling a session there as well.
