Tiger Woods is going to get it now: South Park takes its shot
If you’re one of the two or three people who missed Tiger Woods’ public apology a few weeks ago, here’s another chance to watch it – South Park style.
I’m not a big fan of the no-holes barred animated series on Comedy Central, but I’ve got to admit, I’m pretty curious to see how South Park will lampoon Woods in its 14th season premiere Wednesday at 10 p.m. (EDT).
In a clip on the South Park Studios Web site, Woods is depicted reading his statement at the podium with the character Cartman standing next to him. Interestingly, I’m thinking Woods was probably a fan of the series, which features foul-mouthed youngsters who have an irreverent view of anything and anybody. The show has even gone so far as to blaspheme Jesus Christ in unmentionable ways, so Tiger Woods certainly isn’t above humiliating ridicule.
My guess is whatever South Park has in store for Woods will make the Saturday Night Live skit a couple of months ago look like a Tiger and Elin tribute.
Do you think Woods can you bear to watch it? Would he ever watch it? If I were Tiger, I might have to check it out, because anything after that probably wouldn’t seem so bad.
