Garcia will not win a major! Only 3 golfers have ever won another major after losing in a major playoff (Norman, Ballesteros and Faldo). And Sergio is not as good as any of them. Yes, I dislike Sergio. Anyone that disrespects the game by spitting into the cup does not deserve to be playing on the PGA tour or any tour for that matter. So you can go ahead and close the book on his career. He is done!

I agree with what you said and am glad to hear somthing a little more positive about Sergio than what has been out there.

Sergio plays a good game! And he played so consisent all 4 days; the 4th a little worse than the other three, but consistent nonetheless.

Unless you have played in a Major, I just think people need to be a little more sympathetic. I know how I felt when he lost so I can't even imagine what he was going through. He does need to get out of his head a bit and I think he could have tried to hold it together a little beter in the press conference. But he will win a major and he is that good!

Check your golf history Mitchel. What you have
    written is absolutely untrue.

"Some of this might seem rather wishy-washy" ... none of it seems wishy-washy to me. It is absolutely accurate. It takes one to know one, and Faldo has been (unlike you, me and our readers) where Sergio is right now. Padraig had been where Sergio is right now, and some other will be where Sergio is right now, when Sergio wins. Remember that Tiger spoiled us into thinking that it was commonplace to win multiple majors. Ahh, Tiger. It is not commonplace. Loogies in cups? That still bugs me. Last, I don't think that Sergio SHOULD have won any majors to this point. COULD is more appropriate. Should is the most inappropriate word in championship competition of any sort.
