What age are you? Please don't say you are any older than 12, becuase that could be very worrying for your parents and they should take you to a doctor to find out if there is a problem causing your lack of maturity.

I must reassess my judgment of Stanley. He is much more than a darkhorse for the Alan cup.

He is definitely a serious contender for the Alan Cup.

He's starting to show that intangible something that only the immortals possess.

Off hand, I'd say his odds to win the Alan Cup are about 7 to 2.

Although Oui, Oui, Oui might be misguided, that is just a small thing.

Alex and Judge Smails are nutcases. Who is this Alan person they are talking about. Perhaps some American left wing politician or something since they obviously don't like them.

Ironically, I don't like the left either, but I don't subscribe to their philosophies of women in the kitchen only either.

If Alex and Judge had their way, womens sports would be banned. It is a wonder why they spend so much time talking about womens sports.

Your post reminds me of a conversation I once had with a neighbor of mine, a wonderful English lady, now departed, from the district of Cornwall.

I remarked to her that I had recently had a chance meeting with Malcolm Muggeridge, the editor of Punch. He did seem rather effeminate, which was all right with me.

She replied that "Muggeridge wasn't thought of at all well at home. He was considered a bit of a pansy." Laughter and hilarity ensued.

There must be something in the water in Merry Old England. First, we had Norman. Then Alan, now, Stanley.

I don't believe they are clones, and they aren't clever enough to post under multiple user names.

It may be some sort of group dysfunction.

As far as Big Stan being a contender for the Alan Cup, he shows promise. But he has a long way to go. Longevity in the Alan stats is what the judges give the most credit.

I'd call Stanley a dark horse.
