I think that Gulbis is getting better and better by the day and has a real chance to win an event in the near future.

Speaking of Gulbis getting her first victory, does anyone think that Gulbis and Sorenstam will beat Tom Watson and Donald Trump in the Manhattan Golf Classic's Battle of the Sexes this October?

Lorena Ochoa is one of my favorite LPGA golfers. I think she's got great style. I have been following her career since the beginning of last year, wondering when finally she would change her strategy and "get out of her own way". At the beginning of the year, Ochoa finally realized her mental errors (which occured during the final round) and now she is a true champion. I wouldn't be surprised if she became a Hall-of-Famer in the future.

Regarding the uber popular Michelle Wie...I'm not convinced that the new book by Jennifer Mario, "Michelle Wie: the Making of a Champion", should have been written just yet.

About a year ago on these blogs, several posters were referring to to Lorena Ochoa as Ochokea, since she was beaten out for first in several events on the final day. Yesterday, she won her third LPGA tournament in 2006 along with five seconds and five other top ten's. There hasn't been a word written about her on these blogs since her latest win. What a difference from the treatment a certain lanky teenager with dangling earrings receives when she collapses from..ahem..heat exhaustion. Do you think that that same teenybopper will still be ranked ahead of Lorena in the Rolex rankings. What a joke!

Kerr has been professional since 1997. I believe Se Ri Pak said it best when she compared herself as the older lady playing against the young girls.

In my opinion, Morgan Pressel will win one before Natalie Gulbis. Gulbis is no longer a factor in this tournament. Barring a "choke" from Ochoa, I think she's going to win tomorrow.

It's nice to finally see Miyazato near the top of the leaderboard. I was beginning to give up hope.

Kerr is doing alot better than Gulbis, because Guilbis has been on the lpga for quite a while and has over 120 events.

Pressel has only played about 25 events or so, and is a rookie. Perhaps she should be given more time before judgements are made.

At least Kerr can say that she persevered and won. Now she's close every week or winning...she has two tournaments under her belt this season. Certainly she is doing alot better than either Pressel or Gulbis.
