If Wei would play with the women and quit playing with the men maybe someone would respect her. Or I forgot her poor wrist. Or yeah who just jump until Pappys Pond at the US Open oh that wasn't Michelle I bet she doesn't enough know that tradition. However it was humbling to see Morgan and her grandmother take that plunge with humility and dignity that I never seen from Wei. But of course Wei hasn't worked as hard as Morgan we all still should just fill sorry for Michelle well not me. Congtrats Morgan what a wonderful show of true emotion and respect. You are the true role model for today young women.

I liked Michelle Wie's recent comment during the first round of the HSBC match play event. She was asked if she knew Candy Hannemann and she responded, "Well, you know, I don't really look at the, you know, the name of the player that I'm playing."

When I go out as a single I also try not to get to know my opponent too well. I just stick to my own game plan.

Now if I could just play golf like either Michelle Wie or Lorena Ochoa...well, WOW...

Lorena has said she wants to be number 1. But what do you do when you finish in 20th place in the Open? It seems to me that Lorena has chosen to view this as a glass half full rather than half empty--and she is doing this to help keep of her confidence for future events. In this she resembles Michelle Wie in her approach jto near misses.

Lorena Ochoa is a great golfer. Not every week can be a winning one. I guess she's content just doing what she's doing for a living. I, personally, could get used to it!

Interesting quote from leading LPGA money winner Lorena Ochoa in her pre tournament HSBC interview. She doesn't consider 20 th place at the Open to have been a bad week.

Wayne, thanks for the tip about the putter, great stuff.

Wie's putting was working much better. Sometimes people uninvolved with the person's faults can see what the golfer may be missing.

I also agree about Wie's approach shots letting her down but that's just going to be something she has to work on, just like the rest of us!
