Golf for Beginners podcast: Never tee up the same again, "bulls" or "bears" on the golf course and our Masters picks

After our windy and rainy stay in Myrtle Beach it sure is great to have warmth and fair weather in the air. In honor of spring Barry and I discuss solid practice routines on the driving range. The Barry and Stacy “mini tour” gets started with a win by Stacy (who played a round of “happy golf” this weekend).

We also talk about our favorite picks for the Masters. Being a true lefty, you can probably guess my choice to win this year at Augusta. A hint? He’s the guy who tore up the course at the BellSouth Classic!

Our product review takes the normal wooden tee and revamps it.

Thanks for all of your comments. We appreciate it! Continue to send all golf talk to golfforbeginners@aol.com.

Have a great season and play good golf!

Hey Guys! Great podcast!

I bet Barry brags to everyone that his wife likes golf. For many guys, I think that would be the perfect marriage!

Keep blogging,

Heather

You guys really have a great natural chemistry together on the air! Congrats on the big win, Stacy. Somehow I don't think you're going to let Barry forget about that one anytime soon.

Oh, and one suggestion: So you each made your Masters picks (Lefty for Stacy, and Tiger for Barry) ..... and? What, no bet? Nothing on the line? Come on, folks, spice it up a little! For instance, I recently bet my wife (who knows very very little about golf) $50 that Jack Nicklaus would not even finish in the top 50 this year.

Heather, All my friends know that Stacy plays golf. She beats most of the guys on the publinks so they're not in any hurry to play a round with her.

And Mark, a guaranteed win for you,..haha!

Taking advantage of your wife?

We can't bet money, because we share it all. We can't bet dinner because I do most of the cooking (yes I do!) or we order-in/take out.

Hmmm...this is going to take some thought...
