If Bubbles is serious about attending and graduating from a prestigious university such as Stanford, one thing that will surely have to change is her proclivity for missung weeks of class attendance to play in tournaments to which she has received an exemption.

There will be precious little time for her to fly around the world for Monday qualifiers.

Schools like Stanford have a strict policy of immersing their freshmen into the university life. One way this is accomplished is by assigning them a tough, rigorous curriculum.

There will be no sponsor's exemptions for Bubbles at Stanford.

Joe Cool (and everyone else, I don't mean to single you out personally) - why do people seem to think that MW going off to college is going to change anything? She can't play for Stanford, so OF COURSE she will still be getting into whichever LPGA and PGA events will have her. Does anyone think, after the millions spent by SWOOSH, that she'll just fade away??? Silly.

Unfortunately Michelle will not break 80 in her second round and will be preparing for the Canadian Open. The remark of "well, I am only 17" is starting to grate on my nerves. It seems that the Wie Camp has been in denial about MW condition and wanted the exposure for their "phenom." Stanford can not come soon enough!

What an excellent opening round for Lorena, a bogey free 67. Then there is the self proclaimed great Morgan Pressel (aka Miss Piggy)
who currently sits tied at 133th with a stellar round of +6. If that was MW what would the rude comments be?
