Catch coverage of the 2009 World Series of Golf on WGN

Thursday July 16, 2009 | 07:21:24 105 words, 24813 views

On Saturday July 11th, WGN began airing its coverage of the 2009 World Series of Golf. The event is divided into 13 one-hour episodes that you can catch every Saturday at 1:00 EST through October 4th, with replays on Sunday at 11:00 EST. Click here for the broadcast schedule.

The event makes a game of golf a little more exciting by mixing in elements of poker. In the tournament, which is open to amateurs only, players ante on each tee and then bet or fold on each shot. The event takes place in none other than the poker-loving city of Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
