Goosen wins Transitions Championship; Hurst outplays Ochoa for Mastercard Classic title

“It was great to see that putt go in,” Goosen told reporters. “The greens got scary. Down those last few holes, they were definitely getting like Shinnecock was. You just cannot hit them soft enough. It was really tough.”

Pat Hurst won the Mastercard Classic Sunday. She closed with a 4-under 68 to defeat Lorena Ochoa and Yani Tsengy by a stroke. It is her first victory since the Safeway Classic in 2006 …
