Phil Mickelson won his first World Golf Championship this weekend. Suffering from a stomach bug, Mickelson nevertheless closed with a 3-under 69 at Doral’s Blue Monster to defeat Nick Watney by a stroke …

“It took a lot out of me,” Mickelson told reporters. “I haven’t eaten much in three days. I fought hard. I’ve been playing some of my best golf, and I’m very excited to have finished it off.”
