Ogilvy wins WGC-Accenture; Ochoa takes Honda LPGA Thailand title

Geoff Ogilvy defeated Paul Casey 4 and 3 Sunday to win the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Ogilvy didn’t card a single bogey through his last 57 holes …

“When Geoff plays the way he did today, you have to put him in the category with the top players,” Casey told reporters. “He’s a phenomenal golfer. How many other guys have won three WGC events? Only one. Geoff was exceptional today. I just came up against a guy who was too good.”

Meanwhile, Lorena Ochoa shot a 6-under-par 66 Sunday to win the Honda LPGA Thailand. She defeated Paula Creamer by three strokes for her 25th LPGA Tour victory …
