Tiger Woods out of 2008 PGA Tour season with knee injury
Tiger Woods will miss the remainder of the 2008 PGA Tour season. The 14-time major winner has to have reconstructive ACL surgery on his left knee and rehabilitate a double stress fracture on his left tibia. Woods reportedly defied his doctor’s advice to play in the U.S. Open, which he won Monday in a playoff against Rocco Mediate.
