Michelle will not make any cuts in the tournaments she will play this year. This means that she will have to go to Q School to qualify for the LPGA 2009. Her comments after her first round sounded like a broken record...rehearsed many, many times in the past. It is incredible that she has become a "has been" at 18 years old. -

It is sad... but she has no one to blame but herself. She refuses to learn from her previous mistakes. I'm speaking mostly about her interview skills her. As for her golf... maybe she should try working at her game. After all, she has been paid quite handsomely to do so. -

Michelle Wie didn't struggle. That's how she plays. -

I am surprised that Michelle's mindset is still "I wanna have fun" during golf tournaments. If you ask any of the LPGA Pros why are you at this tournament, the answer would certainly be "to win" and not "to have fun." It looks like her comments during the interviews will certainly match any of Yogi Berra's comments from the past. She is a freshman at Stanford and her English is 7th grade at best...perhaps she should do the interviews in Korean or Japanese. She has become the shark meat on the LPGA and not the shark. Would someone please tell her that on the practice range it is 90% physical and 10% mental while in tournament play it is 10% physical and 90% mental...she still doesn't understand. I doubt if she will have one round this year under par. Most of the girls play every week on tour and stay tournament tough...they are not out there just to have fun. -

It is interesting that during MW last tournament she could not make many putts between 6 and 8 feet. When she was in her so called "prime" she still could make the same length putts. She still insists on reading her own putts and does not allow help from her caddie. The putts she missed were all edge burners and I am suspicious that the problem may be with her eyes. -

"I wanna have fun" during golf tournaments." Because there's no way she's a legitimate professional LPGA contender. All her sound bites come from either Nike, Sony, Omega or the talent agency of William Morris. Ooh great talent you got there. Enroll her into English and Speech 101. Stanford does offer those courses don't they? Okay, so send Michelle to the nearest Intermediate school for the immigrant night classes. -

Cindy, you are the great visionary! Michelle gets a paycheck for the tournaments she plays which makes her a legitimate LPGA professional. Since turning pro she has received the worst advice from everyone in her camp and she accepted it. She has never developed her mental toughness on the golf course and now her physical skills are gone also. She has brought all of the scrutiny down on herself. Her career is in tatters and I seriously doubt she will be a full time member on the LPGA in 2009.
