Woods didn’t appear concerned about his slow start: “I played a lot better than what my score indicates,” he told reporters. “I kept myself in the tournament. I’m right there.”

Two guys have made 7 birdies in a round (Dougherty and Westwood. Each countered with 4 bogeys for a -3 69. Tiger will need at least that many birdies and no bogeys to climb into contention or the lead on Saturday.
