Phil Mickelson could miss the Buick Invitational, his first scheduled PGA Tour event of 2008, because of a respiratory problem he’s been struggling with since October. Mickelson has reportedly been suffering from heavy congestion, shortness of breath and fatique since October, around the time his neighborhood in Southern California was damaged by wildfire. In Tiger Wood’s first public comments since Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman’s two-week suspension, Woods said Tilghman had no ill intent when she used the term “lynch” during television commentary about him …
“It was unfortunate,” Woods told reporters Monday. “Kelly and I did speak. There was no ill intent. She regrets saying it. In my eyes, it’s all said and done.”
