Steve Flesch won the Turning Stone Resort Championship Sunday with a final round 1-over-par 73. Flesch defeated Michael Allen by two shots in his second PGA Tour victory of 2007, marking quite a turn around for a guy who missed the cut in half of the first 20 tour events he entered this year …
Meanwhile, Lee Westwood shot a final round 7-under-par 65 to win the British Masters Sunday. Westwood made two huge putts on the last three holes for his second victory of 2007.
“I’m delighted to win,” Westwood told reporters. “This is a very prestigious tournament in Britain, and it’s only an hour from where I live.”
