Tiger Woods ready to take Tour, FedEx titles; U.S. defends Solheim Cup
Tiger Woods goes into the final round of the Tour Championship on Sunday at 19-under, three shots up. And with Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, Rory Sabbatini and K.J. Choi all struggling, Woods is nearly a shoe-in to claim the first-ever FedEx Cup title, as well as his seventh PGA Tour victory this season …
The U.S. team held off Europe and retained the Solheim Cup. Juli Inkster, Pat Hurst, Angela Stanford, Morgan Pressel, Paula Creamer and Stacy Prammanasudh all grabbed victories in singles as the U.S. team cruised to a 16-12 win in Halmstad, Sweden.

And kudos to the Wie Warriors for blowing yet another prediction about Michelle. After Paula Creamer led her team to victory in 2005 with a blowout of Laura Davies, Coulthard sour-graped that the U.S. COULD NOT WIN ON THE ROAD without Michelle Wie.
turns out another crazed Wie Warrior prediction went down in flames.
The American team is getting deeper in talent, is clearly better than its European opponents. Great going USA, the women of this country did a superb job of defense on the road.
