Andres Romero wins Deutsche Bank Players' Championship

A week after a strong performance at the British Open, Andres Romero earned his first PGA European Tour title at the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship Sunday. The 26-year-old Argentine shot a final round 2-under-par 70 to finish the event at 269 …

“I didn’t expect my first win to come this quick, but I played great in the Open last week,” Romero told the media. “Coming here I was thinking maybe it could be my time – a lot of things are going on inside.”
