Dot,

It's good to hear that Annika is willing to accept a belated apology from Bubbles for her untimely withdrawal from the Ginn tribute to which she was personally invited by the great champion.

Magnanimity to an inferior who is just learning the trade is a sign of a truly gracious and tolerant person.

If Bubbles ever ascends to half of Annika's stature, it is hoped that she will be half as understanding as Annika is to her.

Michelle Wie shot a whooping 82 at Pine Needles today, the first day of the US Open. It looks like Wie is getting used to scoring in the 80's. Remember she shot 83 in the 3rd round at the LPGA championship and finished in last place? Then, when she was about to shoot 88 at Ginn, she quit!! (sorry Annika, she'll not apologize)Maybe tomorrow she'll do better ( I must be dreaming) and finally apologize to
Annika (I must be dreaming again)
