Champions Tour to follow PGA Tour's lead on drug testing policy
Following signals by PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem that the tour is considering instituting a performance-enhancing drug testing program, Champions Tour President Rick George said yesterday that the over-50 circuit will follow the PGA’s lead …
“We’ll adopt whatever policies the PGA Tour does,” George told the media. “I certainly don’t [think it’s a problem]. But I think if the tour adopts a policy, it’s important that the Champions Tour adopt the same policy.”
