Wie should embrace LPGA Tour; Singh, Choi, Funk commit to Tiger's AT&T National
Any anger the LPGA Tour and its players may feel toward teenage golfer Michelle Wie would be alleviated if she would join the LPGA Tour, ESPN.com’s Ron Sirak writes today. In particular, Sirak writes, Wie should for the moment stop playing men’s events and focus on the women’s tour …
Tiger Woods recently said he was having trouble getting top players to commit to playing in his new event, the AT&T National. But Vijay Singh, K.J. Choi and Fred Funk recently said they plan to compete in the July 5-8 tournament at Congressional Country Club. Singh, with his three career major titles and two wins this season, is a particularly strong addition to the field …

How dare Sirak make the clsim thst the special talent of Michelle Wie belongs to the LPGA. It belongs to Michelle Wie.
Sirak thinks MichelleWie should first embrace the LPGA and then the LPGA will embrace her. O think Michelle Wie should notice who it is that is embracing her now--Laura Davies, and respond by taking her up on the offer she extended to Michelle Wie last year to join the Ladies European Tour.
Calm down Jimbo, your posts are becoming unreadable.
I'd venture that only an unrepentant Wie Warrior such as you could find anything offensive in Ron Sirak's article.
Bubbles can use all the helpful advice she can get. Obviously, the advice she gets now is doing her precious little good.
But then, you've stated previously that Kathy Whitworth, Annika Sorenstam, and Nancy Lopez, Hall of Famers all, had no business criticizing or advising Bubbles, so in your mind, Ron Sirak is probably lower than a snake's belly.
The article by Ron Stark is not only a very good article but is also complimentary toward Michell Wie and her ability or talent.
The problem for you is that you do not know how to read and understand what is written. The comment you quote "In Michelle Wie the LPGA has a special talent... is a compliment. You are so obsessed with Michelle WIe you have lost any objectivity. I hope Security keeps you far away from her if you ever attend a tournament or event where she is appearing.
You also lessen yourself by the manner in which you speak of legendary players and their accomplishments. People should earn from someone like TIger who has always shown the proper respect for the game, the history and the great players in the game of golf. While the money is great for TIger he seems to always have been motivated by achieving a place in History rather than simply chasing the money. The WIe family only acts as if they are better than everyone. Thye have no sense of respect or history of the game. They have not earned the
right to act this way.
