Mickelson takes lead at The Players Championship as Tiger Woods struggles; Wie may still play John Deere
Phil Mickelson saved par on his final two holes to take a on-shot lead into the weekend of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Michelle Wie may not have ruled out playing against the men as previously reported, according to a story by Golf Digestoes on to say “no options have been ruled out” and that Wie playing in the John Deere Classic remains a possibility.
Sarah Lee used a bogey-free 3-under 68 to take a two-shot lead over Becky Morgan halfway through the Michelob Ultra Open. Lorena Ochoa, Morgan Pressel and Natalie Gulbis had all fallen off the pace and were tied at 3-under. …
