Tiger Woods cruised passed Tim Clark, while other top seeds struggled at the WCG Accenture Match Play Championship second round. Woods went on a birdie tear and stomped Clark 5-and-4, while Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Jim Furyk, Luke Donald and Retief Goosen all suffered loses. If he started on the back, then he birdied four of his last seven on the closing front, or five of his final nine in Canadian dollars.
