What will it mean if Phil wins on a course the owns Tiger? This sort of event will NEVER have happened before, and perhaps might start the wheels turning in Tiger's mind. Jack never skipped the Canadian Open at Glen Abbey, even though he designed the course and never won there. Perhaps Tiger is admitting that nature, and not humanity, is the only opponent that can defeat him. I'm pulling for Phil.
