TaylorMade-Adidas Golf teams withChina; Judge rules girls can play in boys HS tournaments
The China Golf Association and TaylorMade-Adidas Golf announced a three-year deal that will have the equipment manufacturer supply China’s national golf teams.

In Massachusetts, a judge struck down a rule that girls that should not be allowed to participate in boys’ high school golf tournaments. Hampden County Superior Court Judge Brian McDonald said the rule violates the Massachusetts Equal Rights Amendment and denied female golfers opportunities for advancement in sport.
The judge wrote the rule gave boys better opportunities to earn college scholarships because most recruiters watch athletes in the fall, not the spring. …
