Phil Mickelson looking to regain putting form; Myrtle Beach a great value golf destination

Phil Mickelson is looking to get his putting game back on track as he heads to the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this week. Mickelson failed to make the cut at last week’s FBR Open and has not cracked the top 40 in his first three events this year …

“It’s not the start that I want to the year,” Mickelson said last week at the TPC Scottsdale. “I need to get the putter working.”

In a recent column, USA Today’s Larry Olmsted called Myrtle Beach, S.C., the best value golf destination hands down. Olmsted said it’s hard to go wrong with Myrtle Beach’s more than 100 golf courses and endless accommodation options …

At FloridaGolfGuide.com, Tim McDonald writes about The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Florida, a course McDonald says is one of the best in the area.
