Tiger Woods has announced he will not compete in the Tour Championship next week, marking the first time in his career he will miss the event. Woods said he is mentally and physically tired from a hectic stretch through the Ryder Cup. Both Woods and Mickelson will miss the event, which will now have a field of 27 players.
