It appears Michelle Wie isn’t winning many new fans by competing in PGA Tour events, with many critics saying she should focus on the LPGA Tour. Wie failed to make the cut in a PGA Tour event for the sixth time in her career at last week’s 84 Lumber Classic.

Bill Britton jumped to a 3-shot lead in the opening round of the New Jersey PGA Championship at Manasquan River Golf Club yesterday. Britton shot a 5-under 67.
