I just thought I'd post this to get a rise out of the Wie Warriors. Bubbles remains in solid contention by shooting 70 today. She is one shot behind Karrie entering the final round at the Evian. However, Morgan Pressel scored a 67 today to tie Laura Davies. For low round. So the story is this: If Bubbles had played as well as Morgan today, she'd have a two-shot lead. The hated Morgan had posted her score so Bubbles knew what she had to shoot. So why didn't she do it? Sounds stupid you say? Not any more so than the constant unnecessary excuses you clowns make for MW.

Maybe Morgan can teach me how to win, after I teach her how to get on the leaderboard.

Excellent round(67) for Morgan Pressel. What Alex said is not all that different from what Wie supporters were saying after her second round 68 at the Sony this year. Is Alex suggesting that Pressel playing on the LPGA is in some way similar to Wie on the PGA?
And remember, Wie critics were saying that Wie only shot her 68 once the pressure was off and she no longer had a chance to make the cut. Does Alex think that Morgan Pressel is only able to play excellent golf when she is so far behind there is no longer any pressure to try to win?

Michelle will play in the final group with Hall of Fame member Karrie Webb who is having a great season and Laura Davies who is very close to qualifying for the Hall of Fame herself. In the group behind her is Se Ri Pak who has met the Hall of Fame requirements except for the ten year playing requirement. It doesn't get much better than this for a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD girl.

Karrie is playing precision golf this season, while Se Ri and Laura are not playing so badly themselves.

This is a defining moment for Michelle Wie and her quest to make golf history. This is her first really pressure packed final round and it happens to come with three of the best female golfers on the Planet surrounding her. These gals will not fold under pressure and should be in the match all the way to the end.

There may not be a better opportunity for Michelle to take her game to a new level and silence her critics. Or will she fold under the enormous pressure and give her critics a chance to spread Bovine Fodder for another week?

I picked Lorena to win and she is still in the hunt and knows how to go real low herself in a final round. Come on Lorena, usted lo puede hacer chica.

In any case, the final round of the Evian Masters will be fun to watch as it also doesn't get much better than this for fans of women's professional golf.

OK guys, let's settle down, re: inferior tour event, doesn't it have the top 30 women golfers in the world? Secondly, I'm one of Bubbles biggest fans but I frankly don't think she will win tomorrow. Karrie web is playing just a little better and has a whole lot more experience coming down the strech. Along with all the others nipping at MW's heels, she would have to have one of her best rounds ever. I'll make a prediction, she'll have to shoot a 68 to win tomorrow.Having said that , I guess what separates Wie warriors and her critics is how do you interpret still another top 5 finish? Another colapse in the final stretch yet again, or another incredible performance by beating ALMOST all of the other best women golfer's in the world? I don't care or base my opinion on how well she plays based on how much money Nike is paying her. I base it on how well she plays (consistently) against the best women golfers in the world.
In that light, I think she is doing quite well.

That comment shows that not only do you hope that she would play badly, but that you would be relishing the prospect and would experience joy from it. That is one serious problem you have there.

Michelle has actually performed very well down the stretch of each tournament she has played this season so far. So as well as your comments being just plain nasty, they are also untrue.

But lets not dwell on the untrue part of your statement, it is the nastiness that you should be most ashamed of.

Is the Esian Masters inferior?

Someone should should have told those silly people who have made the prize fund, the 2nd biggest in womens golf. Or those other silly people who invited the top 30 women golfers.
Or how about the top 30 women golfers themselves who decided to turn up, perhaps someone should tell them that they shouldn't have bothered because it is an inferior event.

My take on this deep throat issue is that P4P misunderstood Ford's comment and made it sound like something else, then others (J.N. and 1P) who probably just glanced P4P/Ford's comments went further.

I think it is a simple misunderstanding that got carried away. From reading their comments, they are generally decent. Everyone makes mistakes too. If it is too extreme, let the editor delete, no damage done here.

Let's forget about it and have a more intelligent discussion.

Michelle Wie didn't win because she has no heart. That's it. 16, 26, 36 years old - it will make no difference for her. She will NEVER win an LPGA event. Stop letting the media do all your thinking for you. There are plenty of golfers without a corporate agenda behind them who actually DO play winning golf.
