Rookie year was 2003 playing in 24 events with five top five finishes with one coming in a LPGA Major. She also had two top ten finishes. She missed the cut one time.
2004 she won twice and had 8 top five and 5 other top ten finishes.
2005 she won once and had five top five and 3 other top ten finishes.
2006 she has won twice and had six top five finishes with five of them in second place. She also has one other top ten finish while playing in fifteen events.
Michelle Wie age 16, played her first LPGA event as a professional in 2005 at the Samsung. Completed all rounds finishing in fourth place until she was disqualified for taking a drop over 24 hours earlier.
2006 she has not won an event in five LPGA starts, but she has finished in the top five for each event played with three of them carded in LPGA Majors.
I wouldn't count Michelle out of the top five just yet Joe Frosty, she carded a first round score six strokes better than at the 2005 Evian when she finished tied for second place with one Lorena Ochoa. I would call that a significant improvement over last year.
I do believe Joe Cool has the right of it in that MW won't make it into the top 10 at the Evian this year.
I am patiently waiting for that wonderous day when MW happens to luck out when everyone else fails or falls back to allow her to win a tournament. That ever so delightful day in which your fondest dreams come true and all those entered in said tournament, bow out graciously so that she may win one. I mean after all, she has no talent, she is overhyped and certainly doesn't deserve to be in the top 35 let alone the top ten.
So us Wie-maniacs will just have to hang our heads and wait for the inevitable inundation of rhetoric that you will post for our edification as to why she shouldn't be playing at all.
*sigh*
Carry on, oh mighty legal beagle.
Maybe Morgan and Britanny should team up and play select shot to help themselves along. If they ask nicely, Amy Yang might give them some tips on how to compete with the big girls.
Predict that a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD KID will win a LPGA professional golf tournament, no way I will go there.

Oh, I'm sure you realize exactly what my post meant, old sock... Unless you are one of the less sharp knives in the drawer..
By the way, don't you just love the posted scores for the next and brightest young LPGA star? Paula and Morgans old pal from AMATUER days? 6+ and 6+..... and Morgan at 6+ also? Now whatever happened to the expertise they were supposed to have in stroke play, hmmmm? All those wonderful Amateur trophies and titles? All that experience learning to win?
Tsk, tsk, Alex, you and Smails must be just drooling with glee as they move up the leader board at 74th and 59th?
