Tiger Woods is ready to defend, Ballesteros rips U.S. Open, Wie plays too slow

Monday July 17, 2006 | 10:50:41 am 95 words, 2974 views

The British Open Championship week has begun, and Tiger Woods is getting an early start on the week. The defending champion played Royal Liverpool for the first time yesterday.

European golf legend Seve Ballesteros had some harsh words for the U.S. Open this past week, calling it the “worst of the majors“.

Over the Wie-less weekend at the John Deere Classic, the Australians continued their dominance of the tour as John Senden took home his first PGA crown.

Speaking of Wie, her playing partner Jeff Gove isn’t impressed with the phenom’s pace of play.

Hello, Dot.

Is it true that on the Sunday that Lincicome won the HSBC, there were about 500 on the course?

Are the draws of Annika and Michelle that strong?

How many were on the course on Saturday?

Well, if you want a crowd draw, why not just give an exemption to Johnny Depp or Jessica Alba?
