Michelle Wie may not have a professional victory on her resume yet, but she has just about everything else. Especially now that Dunham Hills Golf Club in Harland, Mich., has put up a statue of her

The U.S. Pro Golf Tour is getting a big boost now that it has announced a five-year strategic partnership with eclectic billionaire Donald Trump. Starting next year, the tour’s four major championships will carry a total purse of $10.1 million …

Annika Sorenstam is basking in the glow of her U.S. Women’s Open victory. The win pushes Sorenstam’s overall earnings to more than $20 million on the LPGA.

LOL. A full blown sculpture. Imagine a woman's figure gracing on the golf course for all to see. Wait till the Wie bashers get a hold of this story. They will be foaming on the mouth. Which reminds me... what is that disease called where dogs foam on the mouth and go crazy soon after? They haven't found the cure for that disease, have they? hehheh.

Yeah, you and your lonesome. Oh I forgot , your friend, Mr. Smails. Judging from your comments, you don't play golf much, do you?

I found a picture. http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060704/SPORTS09/607040331/1054/SPORTS

Unfornately it doesn't look anything like Michelle. Looks hideous. The body looks too big, nothing like Michelle at all and the head is too small.

I wouldn't feel flattered at all if I was Michelle

lol, give the artist a break. It is not too bad. If you want a nice image of Michelle, there are plenty on the internet photos.

In fact, Michelle should be flattered regardless of the quality. It is the very fact that they made a sculture honoring her that counts. At age 16, you have to do some heroic deeds (like Joan the Arc) to have a statue erected....

What do you expect from a guy using a chain say for crying out loud folks? If he still had the three fingers he lost it would have been better.

HSBC Match play is in favor of Michelle Wie. Her bracket has the likes of Yuri Fudoa (7), Ai Miyazato (10). The stiffest competition will be from Seri Pak (15). But again in Match play anything can happen. As Michelle said in her interview, it is not about who your opponent is, it is how well you play. No one would have guessed last year Baena was going to run over everyone and win it all....

.............nways, steady efforts are sure to be rewarded in the long run. Same would be for Michelle Wie's professional victory.

The LPGA website has a poll on who will win the HSBC and earn automatic entry into the ADT. Michelle is leading the poll and I am wondering how she was listed as she is not eligible for the ADT. Did something happen we didn't hear about? Maybe ADT is putting their foot down as sponsors often do.

The rudderless ship (USS LPGA) is foundering again with no one at the helm.

I would say a potential 3rd round match up with Se Ri Pak would make it a tough bracket for Michelle Wie. Se Ri Pak is a lot tougher than her 15 seed. Right now I would consider Se Ri Pak to be more of a threat than either player in the potential 3rd round match up of Paula Creamer(5) and Morgan Pressel(12).

I agree. Se Ri would be a tough one. She was striking the ball extremely well at the US open. She just didn't get that many putts to go in. And her putting wasn't bad either. If Pak plays as consistently as she did, I would bet on Pak. I guess I am off the Wie brigade for saying that. LOL
