Michelle Wie skeptic now a believer, Seve Ballesteros keeps playing, Steven Ames' bro at the Quicksilver Golf Classic

Friday May 26, 2006 | 07:04:40 64 words, 1443 views

Michelle Wie is making a believer out of former skeptic Leonard Shapiro of the Washington Post

Don’t look for Seve Ballesteros to hang it up any time soon. The Spaniard says he wants to play another 5 years

As Steven Ames takes a week off, his brother/caddie Robert takes the chance to go play in the Quicksilver Golf Classic on the NGA/Hooters Tour.

Excell4: Lots of potential, for sure. I just want to see a win. To see her close one.

Wie's U.S. Open qualifying threesome announced

"The USGA selected [Rick] Hartmann and David Gossett to be paired with the Punahou School junior in what is sure to be the most watched threesome.

After the pairings were announced, club manager Jim Matthers gave Hartmann a dress to wear in case Wie outdrove him..."

You go girl!

The Golf Channel or The Michelle Wie Network (as it is now known) will be showing her entire sectional qualifying round live.

One-Putt, Won't the golfers be playing TWO rounds? It will be interesting to see if the Golf Channel will show her entire second round if she is out of contention after the first round. Or will they go into their archives for something like "The Best of MIchelle Wie" to better satisfy her many fans?
