As a card-carrying member of the Sicilian ethnic pride of New York state, I question the use of "Guido" as referring to anything other than Italians in general. No true Italian/Sicilian would use the term to refer to a mobster. Perhaps in Cali, they are not quite so familiar with the true connotation(s) of the term.
