Tried a friends putter with the Super Stroke Grip and immediately felt relaxed with it. Ordered one and put it on a Yes Tracy. I'm draining 6 footers and feel confident over longer putts. I'm not a rookie or into fads; I've been playing for 50 years and carry a 6 handicap. I'll be ordering more grips soon. Try one.

Great question on the flat side forward. The USGA has approved the Super Stroke Grip as compling to regulations as long as the grip can not be changed during play. You can have the flat side left, right or forward.
Ron Creten, President of Stroke Solutions, maker of the SuperStroke Grip.
From the horses mouth as they say, CB.

I was thinking about that grip over the weekend.

Reminded me of the old "Tiger Shark" grips. Very large, takes "wrist" out of the stroke.

Question: Is is legal to reposition the flat of the grip? I was under the impression that the rules stated you must have the flat of the grip positioned toward the thumbs.

Any rules junkie want to check that out?

Same logic as grips in all clubs:

Bigger grip, less hand rotation, more fades/slices.
Thinner grip, more hand rotation, more draws/hooks.

That's interesting and makes sense. As a former tennis professional, I know that the thicker the grip, the more wrist action is minimized. I may obtain one myself.

Thanks for the information.
