One wonders if Tiger Woods or anyone in his organization appreciates the destruction to desert environment caused by the Dubai course. Or the way foreign labor is treated/exploited. Or the fact the country has no water reserves (a luxury hotel opened in Dubai in October and promptly ran out of water . . . no water for guests for a whole day. Likewise, nearby Palm Island was without water) but millions of gallons will be used to keep the grass green. Goes to prove some people will do anything for a buck or two, regardless of exploitation of people and scarce resources. Shame on Tiger.

As with Mark james from our company a World of Golf Ltd. I am sure Tiger will have an imput into the golf architecture of the courses he puts his name to even if it designing a single signature hole. At present Tiger is rumoured to be using an American golf course architecture team, probably ASGCA with Tom Fazio. Most of the best pro golfers are using their name to promote golf course design so why not Tiger?
