Golf and travel guru Larry Olmsted launches new blog at Forbes
A regular contributor to our TravelGolf.com network, Larry Olmsted has joined up with the people at Forbes.com to launch a new travel blog: The Great Life.
Most recently, he’s been filing regular dispatches for our GolfCourseRealty.com site, and has written travel columns for WorldGolf.com as well. His latest dispatch is on the many real estate options in the golf mecca of Pinehurst.
I’m especially a fan of his posts lambasting the Conde Nast Golf rankings, which he did on his former USA Today golf blog and most recently over at TheAPosition.com. He wrote those posts with some real vigor. I can just see him at his computer with a stiff whisky, banging on the keys furiously.
While Larry sticks to golf travel and real estate when he files with us, his blog at Forbes will be about all things travel, including biking and cycling. I’m sure he’ll write about Ireland and Scotland soon enough. I’m also guessing he’ll write something about Pro-Am golf. You just can’t get him to shut up about playing in PGA Tour Pro-Ams!
